Janice Nicholson

Co-Founder, President & CEO

Janice Nicholson is co-founder, president and chief executive officer at i2i Systems, Inc. where she is responsible for setting the company’s vision and implementing all corporate and product strategies.

Nicholson is known as a healthcare information technology visionary having invented a new category of software that empowers healthcare organizations to integrate and manage their information systems to safely and efficiently manage the care of their patient populations on a mass scale.

Before co-founding i2i Systems in 2000, Nicholson was vice president of product engineering at HealthPro Solutions. She successfully led a development team that delivered ten major product releases of their HealthPro patient management system, prior to the company’s acquisition by WebMD. Nicholson started her technology career at Hewlett Packard in 1983.

Nicholson is an accomplished painter who takes personal inspiration from her Native American ancestry and the American west. She has studied electrical and mechanical engineering.


Jason Luders

Co-Founder, Senior Vice President

Jason Luders is co-founder and senior vice president at i2i Systems, Inc. where he is responsible for the design, development and technical support of the company’s innovative software products.

A healthcare information technology veteran, Luders brings the company 14 years of comprehensive software development leadership and is chief architect of the company’s flagship product i2iTracks. He is an expert in health information technology systems interfacing and data analysis, specializing in legacy and new systems integration and interoperability.

Before co-founding i2i Systems in 2000, Luders was at HealthPro Solutions. He successfully created the software development framework and toolkit for the HealthPro practice management system, prior to the company’s acquisition by WebMD.

Luders is a devoted student of mathematics and computer science, and is an accomplished musician who leads a gospel band on Sunday mornings.


Kurt G. Buecheler

Senior Vice President of Sales & Services

Kurt G. Buecheler is Senior Vice President of Sales & Services at i2i Systems, Inc. where he is responsible for direct and channel sales, strategic alliances and customer installations and support.

Buecheler has 25 years of senior sales experience that includes Microsoft, where he built and ran a worldwide Business Development group for Microsoft server sales, and IBM, where he built a sales channel that grew to $465 million.

Most recently, Buecheler was Vice President of Sales & Support at HID Labs, which develops energy efficient, intelligent high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting for industrial and commercial applications.

Buecheler has been successful in a wide range of industries including operating systems, open source virtualization, ecommerce and digital entertainment. He is known for pioneering new industries and has one patent granted for interactive DVD technology.

Buecheler holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of California, Davis.


Megan Sherman

Vice President of Product Management

Megan Sherman is Vice President of Product Management at i2i Systems, Inc. where she leads product management and innovation efforts across the company's product line, and is responsible for product strategy, research, enhancements and release planning.

Sherman has 20 years of product and marketing experience that includes Microsoft, where she managed products for the Microsoft Office unit including Excel, designed new online product offerings for MSN, and led the company's ecommerce publishing team.

Before joining Microsoft, Sherman worked at KQED, San Francisco’s PBS and NPR affiliate, where she served as Managing Editor of that station’s popular, high-circulation member magazine.

Today, Sherman is an adjunct faculty member for the University of Phoenix, and is a board member at two local nonprofit educational organizations that focus on youth development.

Sherman holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her M.B.A. at the University of Michigan.
